Ryecon was founded by David Gütig in March 2005. Prior to founding Ryecon, David Gütig worked at Epigenomics AG, Berlin, where he led the engineering and automation group. While overseeing biochip technology, he advised the board on the latest developments in and platforms for molecular biology and contributed to the structuring of internal business plans. His broad theoretical and hands-on knowledge of technology development was the basis for his authoring of several patents. David Gütig holds a degree in Physics from Freie Universität, Berlin.
